News: Nintendo Wii outstrips PS3 sales

The Nintendo Wii is consistently outselling its Sony counterpart in the US market.  In May 2007, Nintendo sold 338,000 of their Wii games consoles, in comparison to Sony selling 81,600 of its Playstation 3's.  Are these signs still going to continue?

While analysts are unsure about which will be the dominent games console in the long term, one indication is that Nintendo has now overtaken Sony in terms of market value within Japan.  Other top performing Japanese companies include Toyota, Honda and Canon.
